Official opening of Sunrise Senior Living – Lonsdale Square!
We were delighted to attend the official grand opening of NV Chamber member Sunrise Senior Living – Lonsdale Square. We caught up with Tiffany Trownson, Director of Public Affairs, BC Care Providers Association, and Sepideh Ebrahimi, Executive Director, Sunrise Senior Living, Lynn Valley.
Talking earthquake preparedness for businesses
We welcomed a visit this month from BC Earthquake Alliance Executive Director Christine Buttkus to discuss earthquake preparedness for our North Vancouver business community.
Seaspan Shipyards tour wows NV Chamber members!
NV Chamber members were treated to a tour of Seaspan Shipyards in July!
We saw all the action up close, and even climbed to the top of a Joint Support Ship—the longest naval vessel to be built in Canada!
We also learned about Seaspan’s history, community involvement, and commitment to health and safety.

North Shore Sports Medicine hosted a terrific Business After 5 event at their Brooksbank location! NV Chamber members enjoyed learning about the benefits of sports medicine and the expert treatments offered at both North Van clinics.

Neptune Terminals tour puts NV Chambers members on working waterfront!
What a way to start the weekend! NV Chamber members boarded a bus bound on a recent Friday morning for Neptune Terminals to see their operations systems up close – including ships and trains!
We learned Neptune exports potash and steelmaking coal to locations worldwide, plays an integral role in the Canadian economy, and is a proud supporter of our community and local businesses. Watch a highlight reel from the tour!
