CHAMBER IN ACTION: A taste of where we’ve been over the past few weeks …
NVC Women in Business event fosters empowerment and connection
We kicked off International Women’s Day weekend with an inspiring panel discussion featuring female business leaders in our community! The energy in the room was electric as connections were made among NV Chamber members. We are so grateful for the insights, stories, and empowerment shared today by our keynote speaker and panelists. A heartfelt thank you to our Presenting Sponsor: Sunrise Senior Living, and Event Supporters: BDC, Cascadia Green Development, Harbour West Consulting Inc., Grouse Mountain, and Zazou Salon & Academy.
The rain never bothered us anyway!
Rain? What rain? These North Van Chamber members are true West Coasters—unfazed by a bit of drizzle during our March Walk & Talk around Rice Lake. Thank you to Cedar Springs PARC Retirement Living for sponsoring this Walk & Talk! Join us on April 9, when we’ll explore Loutet Park and Loutet Farm! Register: nvchamber.ca/events

NV Chamber in Your Neighbourhood: Lynn Valley
We basked in the beauty of Lynn Valley while visiting North Van Chamber member businesses over spring break! From senior living to a social house, hair salon, and student centre—the diversity of our membership is captured in this community. It was nice to spend time with staff at each of these businesses and hear their stories. See who we connected with!
Supporting local businesses together
We enjoyed a visit this month from West Vancouver-Capilano MLA Lynne Block.
Our CEO, Patrick, shared insights on supporting local businesses and economic growth in our community.
NV Chamber in Your Neighbourhood: Marine Drive-Pemberton
We had an amazing day visiting NV Chamber members, including a heartwarming nonprofit, along the Marine Drive-Pemberton corridor. See who we connected with! Celebrating the success of our GrowthHub partnership with CapU
We enjoyed celebrating student growth and achievement at Capilano University’s Work-Integrated Learning Awards Ceremony. Through our GrowthHub partnership, we connect NV Chamber members with CapU WIL students to help them gain practical work experience. This year alone, 150 students have benefited from our referrals. It’s a win-win for everyone involved! Learn more at nvchamber.ca/growthhub.
