Economic Partnership North Vancouver is very pleased to announce that Kendra Low and Bahar Mostofee Afshar have officially joined our team.
Kendra will be joining us as Senior Program Manager. Kendra brings a depth of strategic project and outreach experience in a variety of industry sectors and work environments both at an executive level and through her own consulting business. She is an experienced corporate and sustainability governance professional and business strategist, having advised boards and managed the governance function for both publicly-traded and not-for-profit organizations through different phases of organizational growth including startup, financing and development. Kendra is a three-time Ironman Canada finisher and former national level figure and speed skater. She holds an MBA from the University of British Columbia.
Bahar will be joining us as a Program Manager. Bahar has more than 10 years of experience in project development and management in diverse roles including municipal economic development and business coaching and consulting. She has worked with both start-up businesses through business planning and business launch phases as well as established businesses throughout different growth stages. In providing support to business owners she draws from her own experience of having owned and operated a small business. Bahar has a BA in Economics and Political Science and is fluent in Farsi and Spanish. At her spare time you may spot her at drum circle, documentary screening, or canoeing.
