Financial assistance available for NV businesses impacted by October flooding

Did the recent atmospheric river flooding impact your North Vancouver business? You may be eligible for Disaster Financial Assistance (DFA) from the province to help cover some of your uninsurable losses.

We encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity to learn more and apply for assistance if your business was affected by the flooding that hit our community from October 18 to 20, 2024.

This provincial assistance is available to businesses, property owners, and renters in the City of North Vancouver, District of North Vancouver, and the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish Nation).

Compensation may be available for sudden, unexpected, and uninsurable losses that are essential, including building repairs, replacement of personal effects, and cleanup costs.
