North Vancouver employers: Are you looking to tap into the next generation of talent? CapU has an exciting opportunity for you to host a School of Business practicum student this fall! Learn why hosting a CapU student in your workplace is an invaluable experience for you.
The practicum students are from the North American Business Management Applied program and are interested in applying their knowledge in the following business areas:
- Accounting/Budgeting
- Data Management and Analysis
- Administrative Support
- Marketing
- Events Management
- Human Resources
Program Overview:
- Duration: 450 hours of meaningful work between September and December
- Schedule: Ideally, 3-4 full days per week to accommodate students’ survival jobs
- Compensation: The work can be unpaid as part of their practicum
- Legal work period: Students are legally allowed to work during this time
Student Qualifications:
- Completed an international undergraduate degree
- Currently finishing a diploma focused on North American business
- Typically have at least two years of professional experience
