NV Chamber congratulates incoming Canadian Chamber of Commerce President & CEO Candace Laing

Candace Laing will become the Canadian Chamber of Commerce’s President and CEO on September 1.

The North Vancouver Chamber congratulates incoming Canadian Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Candace Laing on her new role.

We are a proud member of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce and part of a network committed to a simple goal: helping businesses succeed and communities thrive. 

In addition to her extensive private sector experience, Laing offers a strong background with the Chamber movement and the Canadian Chamber itself, according to the Canadian Chamber of Commerce announcement. 

Laing first joined the Canadian Chamber’s board of directors in 2019 and served as vice-chair from 2021 to 2022, becoming the elected chair of the Board of Directors in 2022. As chair, Laing was a leader of governance reform and modernization of the Board.

Laing will be installed as the Canadian Chamber’s President and CEO on September 1.
